Graciela Blandon

Graciela Blandon is an emerging performer and proud El Pasoan! For over eight years, Graciela has organized in her community, having served as Executive Director of El Paso Young Democrats, Communications Director of Sunrise El Paso, and campaign manager for various Latine candidates.
She handled family separation cases at the Office of Rep. Beto O'Rourke during the time in which this story is set, and continues to volunteer at El Paso's migrant aid centers. A recent graduate of New York University, her research on migration has won the support of the Rhodes Foundation, Marshall Foundation, and Fulbright Commission.
Today, she redefines perceptions of the border as an educator at the Guggenheim Museum, a guest curator for the El Paso Museum of History, and an English teacher for unhoused asylum-seekers. Viva El Paso! @gracie.blandon
